The theme of the first EURASTiP Brokerage Event is sustainable shrimp production and trade between Europe and Vietnam, one of the south-east Asian focus countries of the EU-funded EURASTiP project. EURASTiP Brokerage Events bring together research & business experts from both regions to discuss joint research agendas, develop business opportunities, and facilitate collaboration between companies in particular.
All stakeholders (public sector, private sector, civil society organizations, NGOs, associations, producers from both the EU and Vietnam) are invited to this 1-day event to discuss the road to compliance to EU-required standards in relation to shrimp production and trade. The expected outcome is a coherent view and common understanding of all stakeholders on strategic development of the shrimp value chain to enhance compliance and improve trade relations.
